Day and Time
The course will run on Fridays, from 1.00pm - 4.00pm.
Location
The course takes place at ncn Basford Hall.
Qualification
CACHE Level 1 Foundation Award in Caring for Children.
Course Description
Students will learn some basic skills in caring for children, including personal development, human growth and development, food and nutrition, health and safety practices in home and group settings, care of children, play and practical activities, and orientation to work.
NOTE: All students will require a CRB check.
Prior Learning Requirement
Students will need to have an interest and enthusiasm for the subject area.
Progression
CACHE Level 2 Certificate and Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education, with the opportunity to progress to a Level 4 Foundation Degree in Early Years Studies.
