Paying for courses at ncn

Student funding is notoriously complex so these pages, whilst intended to provide you with useful information, may well prompt more questions.

We ask that you get in touch with us for a consultation with one of our finance advisors as more often than not, it's your personal situation that will determine the financial support you may be entitled to.

This information is a guide to 2015/16 academic year so some of the information may change over the summer for the new academic year. Please contact an advisor if you have any queries on 0115 9 100 100.

As a guide please refer to the table below. Please also see our Fees Policy 2016/17 and our Guidelines for the disbursement of the Bursaries and Dlsf Budgets

Where a course has specific requirements regarding personal protective clothing for health and safety reasons, it will be possible to loan this for a small deposit. Speak to Student Services or your tutor for more information.

As an adult learner (aged 19 and above) you may provide your own materials as long as they meet the standards specified by the course tutor. This is particularly important where you will be using products in commercial settings. Please note that ncn can provide all your materials at the correct standard at the best price possible. Please let us know if you do not wish to take advantage of our industry standard suppliers for your materials.
