What is Access to Media?

This course is designed for those who are pursuing a career in the creative industry. Whether you want to become a graphic or multimedia designer, get involved in TV, journalism and film or become an animator; Access to Media is the best path way into your dream university course!  

The course will give you the stepping stone that you need to prepare you for your degree. Equipping you with the knowledge and skills you’ll need to progress on to this level of study.

Who is this course for?

This course has been designed especially for students aged 19+ who want to fast-track to degree-level study. It is perfect for those who have had a few years out of education or haven’t completed a college course or A levels or simply just want a change in career! 


If you are aged 19-23 you may be eligible for a reduction in fees. There are also 24+ Advanced Learning Loans available. To find out more information and if you are entitled to these reductions please see our Fees and Funding page or call one of our friendly advisors on 0115 9 100 100. 

However, if you progress from an Access to Media course and complete a university degree your access course fees will be wiped!
