Welcome to Retail and Logistics at ncn...
We offer a wide range of full-time and part-time Retail courses; as well as our apprenticeships which allow you to gain qualifications while you work.
Retail within the East Midlands employs approximately 10% of the workforce and is a major source of regional development and regeneration. Our full-time and part-time retail courses are designed to meet the vocationally-relevant training and development needs of a wide range of employees and employers, and are based at ncn City (Adams). Many of our courses include work placements which enables our learners to experience the many facets of the industry in a realistic working environment.
Our apprentices are given the opportunity to train off-site in the workplace. This training is supported through ncn, by a workplace tutor/assessor who will visit you regularly.
Apprenticeships
We support a wide range of Retail employers that have apprentices or advanced apprentices that are being trained through ncn.
Our rationale, and how we work with employers:

To deliver tailored Intermediate and Advanced Level qualifications in the workplace to up-skill existing employees.

To work with new entrants in the delivery of ‘job ready training’.

To work with schools to promote careers in retail, and deliver vocational training to young people.

To develop strategies to promote access and participation in learning amongst traditionally excluded or disadvantaged groups.
