Rae has studied theatre arts at ncn for several years: firstly a BND in Dance, then a Foundation Degree in Technical Theatre, and now the BA (Hons).
“I feel like I’ve grown as a person as well as a theatre practitioner during my time here. I’ve always had excellent student/tutor relationships and I’ve made a number of useful external professional contacts through the College.
“It was fascinating learning about the technical side of theatre during my Foundation Degree – it gave me an appreciation of the massive amount of work that goes into creating productions.
“The BA theory lectures are excellent – I’ve gained a real thirst for knowledge since the start of the course – and the tutors are supportive, professional and driven.
My highlight has to be the devised performance; it was my first experience of acting in a full production, which was terrifying, but well worth it! “If all goes well, I’m hoping to pursue a career in performance – although I’m still undecided whether it will be in acting, dance or technical!”
