“I’ve always enjoyed dance and when I left school, ncn seemed to offer the perfect chance to pursue my dream career.
“ncn offers some great facilities, which I feel are comparable to many universities and even better than some. There are well-equipped dance studios and theatres and it has been fantastic to have the opportunity to regularly get involved in a wide variety of performances and productions.
“The College offers a lively and friendly study environment and the guidance and expertise offered by course tutors and support staff has really helped me to pursue my dreams. The whole experience has made me aware of what work I want to go into and has presented plenty of opportunity to gain valuable skills to support my future career. It’s really developed me as an individual and has been great preparation to progress to further HE studies at university.
“The main highlight of my course has been the regular performance opportunities, but I’ve also enjoyed the European trips and the opportunity to work with students from other performing arts courses.
“Thanks to my studies at ncn, I have been able to develop my love of dance and I now teach dance in schools and leisure centres. It’s an achievement of which I am particularly proud and I have no doubt that these opportunities would not have been available had it not been for ncn.
“In addition to my studies, I’ve also enjoyed being a student representative for my course. The responsibility of ensuring that the views of my fellow students are heard and working with the College to ensure that their time at ncn has been as enjoyable as mine, has been really rewarding.”
