Refund of fees for further education (FE) students
You can apply for a refund if:
- You choose to leave your full-time course within the first three weeks: we keep 25% of the fee and refund whatever you have paid on top of that
- You have to leave due to exceptional circumstances: you’ll need to provide evidence and we’ll consider a part refund (you may have to pay an administration fee of £25)
Refund of fees for higher education (HE) students
If you leave the College before the end of your
programme, you may be entitled to a refund of all or
part of your tuition fees depending on when you leave:

A formal letter stating your wish to withdraw from the
course must be submitted to your course leader within
the relevant timeframe. Failure to follow this procedure
may affect your entitlement to a refund. Please refer to

What's next?
When a refund has been issued, the student is responsible
for cancelling any outstanding direct debit payments for the
relevant course with their bank. If an overpayment occurs,
an automatic refund will be paid but may be subject to an
administration fee.
Refunds will be issued by:
- Cheque/BACs within 12 working days
- Debit card/credit card within 7 working days
