Foundation Degree

Foundation Degrees are innovative qualifications, designed in partnership with employers to meet skills shortages at professional levels. They are relatively new qualifications, but are nationally recognised by employers.

At ncn, you can study a wide range of subjects from Fashion to Multimedia, Business Management to Theatre Arts, and Fashion to Tourism Management.

Generally, this qualification will take two years to complete on a full-time basis. On successful completion of a Foundation Degree, students can progress to further professional qualifications, an Honours Degree, or a Top-up Degree.

Top-up Degree

If you have already obtained a higher level qualification which is below Degree level, such as a Foundation Degree or an HND, you may be eligible for a BA (Hons) Top-up Degree. This usually involves an additional one year of study to achieve a full Honours Degree.

Whether you have obtained your previous higher level qualifications from ncn or another institution, you are welcome to apply for an ncn Top-up Degree.
