'A' Levels in Law, Biology, Government and Politics
Adelani’s A* in Law, and two A grades in Biology and Government and Politics have allowed him breathing space to take a gap year:
“I’ve accepted my place at the University of Manchester, but my results are much better than I expected, so I’ve decided to take some time out to gain some work experience and improve my French language skills. Law was my favourite subject, so I think I’d eventually like to become a barrister. I’m pleased with my Biology result; I thought it was my weakest subject!
“I’ve really enjoyed my time at ncn High Pavement. I arrived in Nottingham from Nigeria not really knowing anyone, and I suppose I struggled to settle in to college at the beginning. But the tutors are very supportive and I soon made good friends. It’s a great place to meet new people. I live about two minutes away from college, so it’s certainly easy to get to. I’m very proud of what I’ve achieved here.”
