ncn Lace Market Gallery is proud to offer the gallery as the only free exhibition space in Nottingham.
If you are interested in exhibiting in the ncn Lace Market Gallery, you will first need to fill out an exhibition proposal application form. If you would prefer a paper version, you can contact us via our contact form, and we will send one in the post.
On the form, you must write a detailed written proposal of the exhibition you wish to have, and submit still or moving images of the work you are proposing to exhibit.
Proposals are evaluated on the basis of the quality, quantity and consistency of the work.
If your proposal is accepted, the gallery curator will contact you and discuss possible dates for the exhibition. Once dates are agreed upon, the gallery will be tentatively booked for your exhibit.
You will then be sent an information pack, including the private viewing policies and an official Gallery Agreement. You must sign and return this agreement in order to confirm your booking of the space.
If you have not confirmed your tentative booking one month prior to the exhibition, the space will be offered to another exhibitor.
We do ask that exhibiting artists leave a deposit in order to ensure the gallery is left in good condition after the exhibition closes. More details are included in the Gallery Agreement.
