Our Freedom of Information Publication Scheme can provide you with detailed information about many aspects of ncn.

  • We comprise 47% of the general funded further education provision in the conurbation
  • We operate across five campuses (ncn Clarendon, ncn City, ncn Basford Hall, ncn Hucknall and ncn High Pavement Sixth Form College) and work in numerous community venues including businesses and schools
  • We offer vocational and academic education and training in the majority of industry sectors from entry level to Higher Education
  • Since 1998, New College Nottingham has invested over £37 million in the local economy
  • We engage with a broad range of community partners through our community programmes

In 2010/11:

  • We had over 20,000 students
  • We had 8,382 full-time equivalent students
  • 71% of our full-time students were under 19 years old
  • 42% of all students and 48% of full-time 16-18 year old students were resident in the City of Nottingham
  • 52% of total enrolments came from the most deprived neighbourhoods
  • We welcomed to the College over 420 international students from more than 73 countries
  • 32% of our students were from Black and minority ethnic (BME) communities
  • We had 1,177 students studying ‘A’ levels full-time at ncn High Pavement, ncn Clarendon, and ncn City
  • Our ‘A’ Level pass rate was 97%
  • Our success rate (on qualification courses lasting 24 weeks or more) has been rising since 1998/9 and is currently 75%
